Going through the MTV2 tag makes me feel:
- OLD as I remember the station was commercial free and actually played new and interesting music. It was pretty much 120 minutes, 24 hours a day (well sorta, the station was on a 12 hour rotation) with loads of interesting VJs (Matt Pinfield, Jancee Dunn, Chris Booker) and pieces about new music. It was also had local coverage, where selected viewers provided tips to up and coming bands or venues you should go to…
- Angry. WTF happen to you?? Re-runs of Boy Meets freaking World? Saved By The Bell??? When did it turn into the USA channel?!?! It used to be an amazing music channel and now its nothing.

With IO or FIOS or whatever there is a channel called MTV Hits. 24/7 music videos with occasional commerical breaks; and occastionally special marathons that are not music videos but only a few times a year.
